“Art and the Sea”, The van de Veldes, Queen’s House, Greenwich

After our successful Unilever Lecture it is time to set sail for Greenwich and experience the world’s largest collection of two leading Golden Age marine artists. The exhibition marks 350 years since Willem van de Velde the Elder and Willem van de Velde the Younger moved to England and were granted a studio at the Queen’s House by Charles II. For those who would like to meet up for lunch (own expense), we will meet from 12.00pm at the Trafalgar Tavern, a 6 mins walk to the Queen’s House. Our entry time is 2pm for this selfguided tour.
Cost: £12.50 p.p. includes entry, a donation to the exhibition and admin fee, Members only.
